Yeah...she's mostly afraid of it due to inexperience and a traumatic event, similar to Sasha.

Rainbow Dash, couldn't swim in my version because she's too cocky to learn.

Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie can swim though. Rarity, also can swim, though she mostly relaxes on a float, since she hates getting wet.
