In this pic we see Tillie, the little switcher engine pulling the birthday train as she triumphantly steams her way towards the town after braving the perilous mountain behind them.

I swear, after watching this movie again, the nostalgia hit me like a fast-moving freight train! X3.... Uhh.. No pun intended...

Anyways, this is one of my childhood favorites which I hold so near and dear to me.
It's ever-so-memorable quote "I think I can!" still rings in my head.
In my opinion, this animated adaption of the original book is actually more heartwarming, more enchanting and more appealing than the original Watty Piper book.
In fact, this is actually one of the very few children's movies that don't try to be annoying, and, most of all, it doesn't constantly try to shove the moral down your throat. The moral it delivers is brought at a nice and easy pace.

Plus, the voice acting is great, the animation is nicely done and the story in this adaption is actually more enjoyable.

I know this pic I made looks much too similar to the original VHS cover, but heck! At least I had fun reliving one of my nostalgia favorites! ^w^

Oh and don't bother watching the shitty 2011 CGI remake... It has NOTHING compared to the 1991 adaption!
