Description
Ah, yes. The first of the Advanced Lessons. If there is one thing I learned from this lesson it is that I hate the "dry painting" feature. And boring, pointless subjects.

Yes! I found it frustrating when being forced to dry my paintings in the tutorial! Especially with no warning!
Nice work as usual btw.

Yeah, after realizing that I couldn't blend the fresh paint on top of the dry paint I just went over the whole thing with a fresh layer.
Thanks man!

I remember doing this kind of thing with pastels. It was kinda fun but a huge mess.

That does sound like fun. The messiest medium I've ever worked with is ink.

I've never tried ink before, but I think it'd be nice. ^^

It's been a long time since I've worked with ink. This piece here ( the-wizard-of-art.deviantart.c⦠) was done back in 2009 using a dry brush technique as well as some stipple shading. It. . . hasn't really aged well. Lately I have been pretty much hooked on watercolor though.

I've tried watercolor a few times in the past. Only done it once semi-successfully of the clock-tower in England, Big Ben.
That was around 2010 or 2011.
I'm happy to stick with digital and occasionally traditional art.
