Description
"Twilight Sparkle! Ancient magical artifacts are NOT toys!"Β --
Here is the third and final part of my miniseries focusing on young Twilight Sparkle, wherein she discovers the repercussions of meddling in the affairs of wizards. I suppose you could call this one a cross-over. For those who can't tell, this was inspired by "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Disney's "Fantasia". www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHTnJNβ¦
I must say, though technically the first one painted, on 3/13/13, (dear God, a year and three days ago) this one is my favorite. Just look at that face. That is an expression that I will be proud of for a long time to come. Also, fun little bit of trivia, there are exactly sixty eight books in this picture.

Kinda reminds me of a Disney classic, Mickey trying magic, instead of chores.

Ah, this one's a classic! I'm still surprised it turned out as well as it did on that water-intolerant paper.
Thank ya!

Let me guess.
the Princess left Twilight alone in the library where she found a book with a spell that could give life to inanimate objects which she uses to give life to a broomstick so that she doesn't have to clean her room anymore but at some point along the line the broomstick use the same spell to give life to more broomsticks which led to the castle almost getting flooded and forcing Twilight to chop the broomstick up into tiny bits before they could destroy the world with bubbly water.

Of course! The Sorcerer's Apprentice with Celestia and Twilight in the place of Yen Sid and Mickey! I wish I would have thought of that, because it's brilliant; it fits so well!--And brilliantly executed I might add! Their expressions are fantastic and you have good reason to be proud of them, and especially Twilight's! God knows I love watercolor
The expressions, color and composition are wonderful! Now I want to see a reference to this on the show.

Thank you very much!
Actually, in Season 2: Episode 10: Secret of My Excess, when Twilight is re-shelving the books the music from The Sorcerer's Apprentice is playing.

Also, yeah, after I posted I thought, "Wait-a-minute, didn't they already have a reference?"
but then I couldn't remember that part. Anyway, I remember now--and it was totally fantastic!

: Now tell me, Twilight, was it worth it toying with ancient sorcery that's meant for expert spell casters, and not young foals like yourself?
: Uh, maybe a little.
