"The building won't take my weight"....Kelly said while giggling at the crew gathered nearby, assembled to film this commercial.
"It's OK, darling. Just sit lightly on it, sip the drink, and smile. We'll do the rest"
"OK."......giggled Kelly. "You're funeral...." Kelly was only kidding, but she well knew the destructive power her body possessed since she grew to these titanic proportions. She always had a good time playing out and acting in front of the camera's, and she was ever so popular and in demand for all sorts of publicity and campaigns that featured her. So this was just another one to her. The soft drink company had spent 11,000 dollars to make the ten story tall bottle for her to drink out of and use for a prop in the shoot, and the paperwork required to get permission to do this commercial in the middle of the city was a monumental task in itself. But now the filming was ready, and everyone of the crew took their places to get the filming shot right. After all, Kelly was going to be posing and moving around in the heart of one of the largest cities in the world, so there was no room for error. Or so they thought.....
But the director insisted Kelly sit on the skyscraper and sip the drink as she sat there, hopefully with a big smile on her face. But Kelly knew that no building in the world could support her weight, and she tried to convey this to the director. But he would not hear it. "More realistic to have you sit on it! Just sit lightly, and we will do the rest!"
"OK."....said Kelly almost sheepishly. Because she knew better. She knew that sitting on the building at all was going to be disastrous. But she shrugged her shoulders and readied herself for filming. She knew the building was evacuated of all people (a precaution the city insisted on) and so she giggled to herself that this was going to be one expensive commercial to shoot for them. But....so be it.
"Andddd.....Action!" came the directors voice through the loud-speakers. Kelly walked into view of the cameras, always an imposing figure at her size, and smiled into the cameras of the nearest helicopter filming her, and said...."Mmmmmmm.....good and refreshing"....as she turned and sat down on the skyscrapers roof. Of course, the snapping, breaking and crunching sounds almost instantaneously started, and in an instant the sounds of the destruction of the skyscraper as it collapsed under her weight drowned out all other sounds. The cacophony of destruction as the remains of the building tumbled to the ground affixed everyone's attention, and in the middle of the mayhem Kelly regained her balance and stood up, giggling all the while, and with a smile on her face said..."Told ya so!".....as she took another sip from the titanic straw poking out of the bottle.
