Description VTF-21-FSU Super Raven

An upgraded variant of the VTF-21 Raven boasting higher performance and maneuverability. This variant is due to replace all VTF-17 and 18's and slowly phase out the regular VTF-21's. It features many new technologies not used in previous Kelvian based aircraft, the most highlighted of which being thrust vectoring engines. Because of the unique structure required for Kelvian based engines, in particular the K-SCRAM, having thrust vectoring engines would require losing performance in the Kelvian powerplant. The Super Raven is the first to overcome this, utilizing thrust vectoring K-SCRAM to achieve speed and mobility not seen before in a Veritas fighter.

The second highlight is the slight variable geometry wings. The material used to make modern day Kelvian fighters is not one for being friendly with variable geometry, let alone moving parts, but thanks to Frank Disen at Tensha Heavy Arms, he created a system that allows the material to be more accommodating than previous alloys used. This allows the wings to bend and adjust depending on flight patterns and also increases mobility.

Other details regarding the fighter, including powerplant details, materials used and AI Platform accommodations are still classified.

----------------

Started from the old F-22ish design I made a while back and has gone under a lot of changes over the past 2 months. Not so much procrastinating as much as, "Great, now what?" moments.

I'd like to thank Seth.ECT, Elena Siegman and Therion for being a musical motivation.

The universe this plane exists in does not have stealth. Radar systems as well as other means of detection have found a way to detect objects even if they were to incorporate stealth technology. So stealth tech was dropped and eventually phased out because, what was the point? The enemy could find them anyway. So instead, resources went into building stronger airframes that could take more damage as well as surviving higher G's.

The basically, it went from, "You can't see me, neener neener neener," to, "Yea. I'm here. What are you going to do about it?"
