Description A Brief Respite -- Beatrix/Steiner

Went through a few different concepts for this one. Originally, I wanted them upright as if they were standing guard over the others, but I realized that on display, the vertical alignment would look weird with the rest of the horizontals. So, they're tending to their equipment instead.

There is nothing at all suggestive about Beatrix stroking her sword. Right?

Beautiful! I'm a die-hard fan of these two, and they look great in your style! Love the lines, Beatrix's pose is exquisite and so well drawn (good proportions, good attention to detail). Way to go!
My only suggestion would be in Steiner's eye - it looks a bit weird, but other than that, I LOVE IT, LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FINISHED VERSION! *screams all fangirly*

Is it strange that I don't much like Steiner, but I love these two as a pair? I even wrote a fic about it ages ago.

OMG, this must be a very funny coincidence... I had already read your fanfic a couple of years ago and I... really love it, it's actually my favorite! I even showed it to my friends and husband :3 so I'm glad to finally know the artist behind it C: great work again with the drawing and with the fic <3
