I dunno about the res tof you but I was real happy to see Derpy back. She wasn't just there in the background, she was right up there in plain view and given center stage...a little. Sure she didn't speak but so what? The fact remains that we were told she was gonna be gone forever, but this episode showed that you just can't stop the Derp.Related content

It is funny though ain't it. She's not a main character, or even a major one to really move the stories along, but she's still the one character the fandom probably can't do without. A simple animation error turned into one of the more iconic characters of the show. She was mostly just a "Where's Waldo" character, always hidden somewhere in an episode. Then she was given center stage, called by her fan given name and she spoke. It didn't matter to us what she sounded like because it was the ultimate hand out that the staff could give us bronies. She's our fingerprint on the series and that's why she's precious to us.
