Well i dont really think its getting out of hand. each Kasumi clone has played a part in the actual story, and t hey do fight a bit different then Kasumi. okay minus False Kasumi but she is only usable in the story mode of DOA5.
Phase-4 as far as I know. she is the proto-type of the final product. so i suspect there will be at least one more clone before this is all over. and i sure once Donovan is defeated we will get a new antagonist.

It's just weird that DOA5's story has three different clones whose active presences in the story don't overlap at all. With some slight tweaking, all three could just be Alpha. And I plan to make a video of that idea.

yeah true. Phase-4 honestly probably should not have appeared in the story until after Alpha-152 was destroyed at least. and she probably will be one of the final Bosses in DOA6 if not the final boss

I wasn't much for the DOA series of games as I couldn't follow the story

It's not that complicated. Evil corporation is hosting martial arts tournaments to vaguely test bioweapons and choose test subjects. The only really successful project is series of clones of Kasumi. The ninjas take down the evil company and it's rebuilt by its rightful heir while the villains go underground and continue their experiments.
