Its been confirmed that its after all the timelines, but the time between its not specified. the events that took place 10,000 years prior to BotW are WAY into the future in the timeline, so there is still a huge time gap between the last game of each timeline and BotW's 10,000 year old legend.

its been confirmed that BotW does in fact take place after every single timeline. Every timeline leads up to BotW, it doesnt matter what has happened in each timeline, destiny will lead them to BotW. so it is a convergence.

It really makes sense for BotW to be in the downfall timeline. But to be honest, my own conclusion is that BotW was designed to move away from the timeline as much as possible. With the game taking place over 10,000 years after any Zelda game, I guess everything could have happened before BotW.

I suppose, given the timeframe, it doesn't much matter which branch it takes place in, except it doesn't work as well in the Adult Branch.
