This is a very old picture. Very, Very Old. I don't really understand my appreciation for cigarette smoke in photographs. I think it's very odd. Don't worry, I'm in the process of quitting. Nowadays, cigarettes are a luxury I can't afford.Related content

may be its just an old shot...but it made me think a minute of things...usually, some pix speak themeselves, different things to different people, autor could even image what it could be.

The breath has the symbolic denotation of being the spirit.It's interesting to watch white smoke seep from the mouth and do acrobatics in the air. Reminds me of when people take pleasure of blowing donut holes in the air.Doesn't have to be cigarette smoke either, even though I don't smoke I've often had fun blowing cold white air on winter days. So it isn't surprising that you find cigarette smoke in photographs interesting. Smoke also adds a nice since of atmospheric perspective to photographs. One of the most attractive things about this photo is the eye contact. It's hard to get away from.

It's an old school alure, most of the early 1900's you'd see that, plus alot of early films and even around the 80's parody films, smoke is used. I hate the fact that I smoke, I shouldn't, but I do, I think for my 40th It'll be my present to quit
