Description
A sample of the Isabelle model from Animal Crossing now rendered in Cycles.The another one was rendered with the Blender internal renderer.
Now updated with the brand new transparent render with shadow.
Compare this to this one:
Render time: 01:00:57.87 (01 hour, 00 minutes, 57 seconds and 87 miliseconds)
New render time: 29:40.52 (29 minutes, 40 seconds and 52 miliseconds)
Soon, Animal Crossing: New Leaf villager models.

Oh of course. Why didn't I think of that. The recent Isabelle model I had downloaded had this uncomfortable split in the face and mouth. Whenever I tried to join them, the UVs would get out of place, and I have to force them back in. I had no problem with rigging the armatures.

Oh, I see. Also I think you chose a very low-poly Isabelle.
New Leaf models are kinda low-poly due to be from a 3DS game.
I recommend you to search for a "high-poly" model of your favorite character on a powerful console, like Wii, Wii U, PS3 or Xbox 360.

I couldn't find any New Leaf models for Wii U, so I used the 3DS. I also get what you meant by them being low-poly, because the textures weren't in high quality for that Isabelle compared to the Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8 ones. By any chance do you know where I could get some Able Sisters models. I have two (Sable and Mabel) but not Labelle.

I dunno, to be honest. I only have a very low-poly Mabel and Sable, but Labelle doesn't seems to be there.
That's because I was asking in The Models Resource to see if someone can rip the Able Sisters models from the Animal Crossing DLC from MK8.
Those ones seems to be a bit high-poly compared to those ones from Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Animal Crossing: City Folk.

I have the Brawl models; however, they are as you described the ones that you've found. Hopefully someone can rip the models so I'd have more detailed textures. Sable and Mabel's textures were mirrored when I got them. I also will try asking The Models Resource for some more New Leaf models like Digby, or see if someone would rip model's from Happy Home Designer.

It would be good if someone rip the models from Amiibo Festival, those ones look better.
But yeah, as the game is not very appreciated, I doubt it to happen.

No hay un modelo del primer aldeano para Blender. Sólo encontré el de New Leaf e igual me sirve.
