You may know that I wanted to study on animation university but they didn't accepted me. So now I have time to prepare for next year exams to get there. And the teacher that prepares me for those exams said that I shouldn't draw dragons. So I'll do some animals now. He said that dragons are popular now, so I should not draw them. That sucks. :/ But I love drawing normal animals too so it's not that bad.Anyways, here is a painting of a lioness, I hope you like it!

Kinda sad you can't do dragons just because it's too trendy. But well you're lucky to have a teacher who prepares you ! I really hope you'll be accepted this time !

Well, if I won't get on that school I won't be very sad because they are oriented on artistic animation, not commercial. I mean they teach person to do individualistic animation with "deep meaning" (which nobody understands). But I want to do animation like Pixar does, for normal audience, or kids. Normal, cute or epic stories, not those artsy depressing stuff. I would like to work in a collective of animators and together work on a movie that goes to normal cinemas. I also wouldn't mind doing creature design or 3D animation for movies like Avatar. When I show my cute creatures or dragons to that teacher he says they don't want stuff like that on that school. They want more dark and deep stuff.
Good thing is I am now going to a private 2-year school which prepares for commercial animation. I wanted to go there to spend a year learning something, instead of waiting at home for acceptance on university.
