Days end-Ponyville. As she was beginning the evening meals preperation, Octavia (Tavi) Melody spoke to her friend and room mate, Vinyl Scratch.
Tavi : You know, Vinyl, I have noticed you have been rather...on edge, lately.
Vinyl : Uh, I-Idunnowutumean....heh
Tavi : Vinyl, pleeease. Every time you feel the need to 'protect' me from news you think I can not handle, you stammer, run your words together, and do a weak, guilt laden laugh at the end. As long as we have been together, love, I thought surly you would be able to trust me with anything by now.
*Sitting alone on their living room couch, Vinyl's mind races, panicked at the thought of revealing to the one pony out of all the others she loves more than anything imaginable her dark secret and burden. To tell her Tavi that she, Vinyl Scratch, is an undead, night crawling, blood sucking...*
*KER-AAASSHHH-tinkle-tinkle*
Vinyl : TAVI?! WHAT HAPPENED?!? ARE YOU ALRIGHT???
Tavi *grunting in anguish* NO, Vinyl. S-stay...where you...are. *pant-huff-cough-wheeze**staggers into doorway connecting kitchen and living room* W-was so...worried, about you, Vinyl...Oh, CELESTIA! uuuUUUUUNNNGG-rrrRRRRRAAAaaarrrrgg...
Vinyl looks on in horror, as Tavi's hooves become padded paws with wicked razor sharp claws, her darling pony muzzel lengthens into a drooling, snarling wolf snout lined with flesh ripping fangs and teeth like daggers, even as her size doubles, no, TRIPLES as her body, fur, mane and tail take on more lupine dimensions. Then, Vinyl looks out the window and notices, for the first time, Luna's newly risen moon just over the horizon, shining full into kitchen and living room alike-a FULL MOON!
aaaAAAWOOO-WOOWOO-WOOOooooooo.... *growls hungrily and begins closing on Vinyl*
*Vinyl watches from the couch, horrified and paralyzed with terror*
