Wouldn't that require the magic of the unicorn that forced the Cutie Marks into said wall? Or at least another unicorn with knowledge of that kind of magic?
You'd have to remove them first, and that "enchanted staff" was just a stick Starlight found in the desert, at least according to her it was. In the premiere, when the glass is broken, the Cutie Marks are shown to return to their original owners. Unless more information is presented, we really don't have anything else to go on.
