It's happened to most of us: you come up with an idea for a story or fanfic, and you think, "Man, this would be great as an episode of My Little Pony!" This is your chance for your idea to become an awesome comic strip, courtesy of Drawponies!
Here's the deal: You can submit comic strip scripts, and the community will vote on which is their favorite. The winner gets $100 and their script made into a comic!
If you are interested, please make sure to read and follow the submission rules below. May the best script win!
If you do not follow these, your submission will be disqualified.
1. Ideas must be your own work. Don't copy an idea from someone else's tumblr, fanfiction, etc. You may use original ideas from your own fanfics or other prior work.
2. Absolutely no NSFW, gore, or profanity.

I think that, given how Rainbow Dash not only needed Twilight to find Daring Do's address but also the fact that Daring Do consistently acted as if she'd never seen nor heard of Rainbow Dash before, we can probably infer that they are in no way related.

True, but also given that we've had next to no information regarding pegasi families (the exception being from within the Cake family) it would still be a bit presumptuous to assume that they are related. Assuming that they're related just because they have slightly similar personalities is a bit of a stretch (because by that logic then Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust must be sisters, and you might as well say that Twilight and Trixie and Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie are related as well).

Its not just their personalities. Its their looks. They have the exact same base model, which normally those are only reused for background ponies or those that only appear for a short amount of time. We also haven't explored the families enough, and as Rainbow's mom hasn't appeared yet, who's to say she didn't have another kid before Dash? Using the same base model normally means something, either that or its just the animators being lazy, such as the case with Pinkie and Maud, but that's to show that they are sisters. Also comparing the two to Twi and Pinkie is ridiculous, as we've already explored the extent of their families.

Your criteria for Daring Do and Rainbow Dash being sisters was simply that they were similar (without specifying how), so no my comparison is not ridiculous at all (and just because we've seen some of their family doesn't mean we've seen their entire family. After all don't we get a new member of the Apple family every five episodes on average or something like that?). We also don't know for sure who that character was that Dash was standing on (could be her father, uncle, older brother...or even unrelated) as it was never explicitly stated. Actually there is in fact a reason why Daring Do is essentially a recolor: she was designed that way so that Rainbow Dash could relate to her (this was stated by one of the writers, don't remember who) and give her a reason to start reading that book.
