I'm not a big pony fan myself, but I think a lot of these comic things are pretty worth the front page, well, some of them anyway. But it's just a trend, I used to see Sonic art all the time before ponies. I still do sometimes.

Well, only a minority is into those pony things, cause... even children dont like it that much, and... even if the art is good
The fact the subject is something really weird makes it annoying to see that much on the deviant home. I would like to see other picures than pony related art and nude art... or cosplays.. (the purpose is the same than nude art, getting views just by showing a pretty girl in some sexy costum.
But anyway, it's how it rules... but it became way too mainstream now :c and there's not that much diversity

Why does it even matter? There is no rule to what should be on the front page, so you shouldn't be complaining about it. Ponies are currently popular, and in a few years the fandom will die out. Then something new will happen. It's a trend. There's no use in complaining about it because nothing will change, so it's best to just deal with it. Just ignore it if you don't like something. Commenting on something to day you hate it doesn't help anyone and doesn't make you a better person.

well I know, but.. I saw too much of them and I went crazy I guess ^^ I had to tell something to feel better, to express my disapointment ^^ but in fact, for some reason, when something is too mainstream it's also not good, I kinda hate what I draw because of that.. it's just mainstream and.. it breaks everything :c

Actually, I would argue that, assuming Derpy can really keep those alicorn powers to herself and not accidentally blow something up (which may be wishful thinking), this is a really good idea. Who would think that Derpy would possess all the alicorn powers?
