Actually, I'm okay with shippers who don't talk about the only one of one of popular shippings, which they LOVE VERY MUCH HORRAY and begin screaming when they see their favourite characters together, and I can hate (Twixie or RariJack, for example). I have some favourite canons and rare shippings (not only in MLP) buuuuuuut I don't see any reasons to fight about it, to pour blood from the nose or make my own list with EVERY shipping with EVERY MUTHERBUCKING character. I still prefer all of them being not shipped more, especially if the talk is about crossovers. I still support keeping the fandom clean more (cuz someday I can get tired of all of this bullshit).
I will never understand that kind of fashion in the fanbase - shippings.

It becomes unpopular because you have one group of people who DO like it, and dozens more who don't. If Appledash or any ship with Rainbow Dash other than Flutterdash became canon, I would be angry, too.

So true! But that only explains most of them.,,Not all of them.. Some just don't work.. Others become hated because of the way it's written and a few were never liked to begin with!!!... As for me I do have my ships too but try not to hate any but I swear if they do Fluttercord like the Fluttercord fans keep saying I silently scream!!! I mean he is Discord for heavens sake! In what way is that a SANE pairing!!!???
