Let's be honest: it can be really tricky bringing humor to a tough situation like this. It was a massive deal to the brony fandom, but we do understand that there are complex factors which must be taken into account when it comes to running a business as large as Hasbro. To be honest, it was the nicest and most apologetic cease and desist letter I've read (and I've read a particularly harsh one from a gaming company to a brony). We don't like it, but they let jananimations keep the bronies documentary song and Don't Mine at Night, so that's a start. Anyways, enjoy the comic! ~Boardgamebrony

Ok, so basically, they produced an animated series with Button Mash as the main character and it was his adventures. It got incredibly popular and Hasbro noticed it...and then sent it a cease and desist letter to stop production of the show and take down the episodes because "they would cause confusion of Hasbro branded stuff and might lead to lost revenue"

he wait hasbro to give he an answer, if things go fine he would be able to do more pony content legally, but if he got a no he wouln't be able to do more pony content and he must delete all previus pony content that infridget the C&D law, he just wanted a yes or a no, after many many months hasbro lawyers stop answering his calls and replying his messages, and he took that as a no, here is the video explaining what happended to him and how unprofecional hasbro is
