Actually a pretty good theory to explain the gender ratio in Equestria is that a huge portion of the fillies are changelings who are passively feeding off the love around them, rather than being predatory jerks.

Passive feeding always seemed like the best idea for the changelings. Somewhere on this site, there's a comic where the changelings invade again, and Twilight just gives Chrysalis a big hug.

Congratulations to you on getting me to actually listen/read a fanfic all the way through. I believe my total is now up to 3. Though I must say it had much more to do with Scribbler's truly fantastic reading than actually finding the fic itself funny. Which is a shame since it's supposed to be a comedy apparently. Don't get me wrong, there was a chuckle, maybe two, but nothing particularly hilarious. I would have labeled it 'Adventure' or 'Slice of Life' instead of 'Comedy' myself.
