I descended into the Bronyzone because of the creepypasta's. Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, Lil' Miss Rarity, etc. I like to see if they got the source material right, and I like the show now.

I was just a furry. I thought I had to sort through perverted crap to get good, clean stuff. I found a website that only had safe stuff. It was full of pony crap. I grew up hating MLP so I was not happy. Started to find the stuff irresistable. Enjoyed the adult jokes and great artwork of the artists. Did this for several years but still would not watch a show "for little girls". Hit a low point in my life and got drunk one night and finally watched my first episode. Never stopped watching it and now I own several shirts and plushies, sing songs from the show, even have MLP stickers on my water bottle at work, and my own ponysona. However, I almost never go to ED unless I'm sent a link to it.

Lol, funny stuff dude! I actually found the show out by channel surfing and coming across it while they were showing "Winter Wrap Up" back in 2011. I didn't know there was a fandom until I started looking for wallpapers on google and came across EQD and well . . . here I am. But this is a funny view of denial from someone who just won't admit he likes a show originally intended for girls. XD

I checked out bits & pieces on YouTube before fully diving in after seeing Winter Wrap-Up. Caught up on the rest & watched "live" since The Last Roundup (original version). Pinkie was my early fave, but gravitated to Rarity.
When I introduced the show to my aunt, the first thing she asked upon seeing Twilight was "Is this a Japanese cartoon?"
