Same!  They had a great concept for the postgame plot, but I feel like it was a little underdeveloped and more could have been done with it.

Seriously! Like how in Rescue Team they had random little chapters post-game like Latias/Latios and Gengar/Gardevoir. It's like, "That's all? Really? Nothing else?" I miss when your partner, Leaf Dad, etc. actually talked to you instead of the same one line although it never fails to make my heart happy when I talk to Nuzleaf and he's all bright-eyed when welcoming you home ;.;

Yeah :/ I'm thinking about writing a fanfic about it since they're basically nonexistent for this lol. It would be really cool if Nintendo could put out some sort of backstory on Nuzleaf and the Beheeyem and what all went down with that.

They were saying that a Pokemon has to have darkness in their heart for dark matter to take control, but they all seemed like genuinely swell guys after regaining themselves lol

Well, it's like your partner says when you finally defeat dark matter.  Those dark feelings exist in everyone.  The reason Dark Matter couldn't be destroyed the first time was because no one understood that you need to accept the darkness in you in order to rise above it.

So, if anything... maybe Nuzleaf and co. really were swell guys before.  They could have even been super-good people who fought so hard to suppress the darkness in their hearts, which was how Dark Matter was able to prey upon that and take advantage of them :c
