I studied Bruce Timm for a while in 2009, one of my favorites. I did this piece from the Modern Masters Bruce Timm book. Highly recommend the modern masters series to anyone looking to get into comic book art. Not only is it filled with great drawing and reference material, the working methods of each artist are as distinct as their styles. As Mr Timm is an animator, his work is great to study for force and simplified anatomy.2009 pencil sketch
