Behold: my OC kick-ass trainer, Evelyn Blackmore, and her incredible Eeveelution team. She's approximately 20 years old and her first Pokemon was Eclipse, her Umbreon. They've been together for 12 years.

Backstory time!

Evelyn was only 6 when her father left for good, leaving her and her mother alone in their tiny house on the far side of Eterna Forest. Viewing Evelyn as the reason for her husband leaving, her mother decided to take her grief and frustration out on her poor daughter- physically, verbally, and emotionally.

When she was 8, she had escaped from one of her mother's frequent beatings to the forest nearby, not caring if a wild Pokemon decided to eat her. Instead, she found an egg abandoned in a nest. Knowing the Pokemon inside wouldn't survive on its own without its parents, she decided to pour all her love and attention into hatching the egg and caring for whatever happened to pop out.

Her devotion was rewarded when the egg finally hatched and a Shiny white Eevee emerged. The baby blinked its black eyes at her and a true friendship was created. For the next year, Evelyn snuck out of her house to care for her precious secret, training it with only a pathetic guess as to what real trainers did.

The final straw came when her mother beat her so badly she honestly thought she was going to die. In fact, that's all her mother would scream at her- how she wished Evelyn would just die and then maybe her husband might come back. The poor little girl packed what she could and staggered out into the night, heading for her friend's hiding place and taking him with her as she started her journey.

Together, they grew and learned, training wholeheartedly and putting everything into their battles. Her Shiny Eevee evolved one night under the full moon into a solid black Umbreon with blue markings- different from the standard yellow. She decided to give him a fitting name- and thus, he was dubbed "Eclipse."

When Evelyn was 13 years old, they battled a wild Eevee- a female. Using their honed skills, they captured her, and Evelyn used a large chunk of her money to buy a Water Stone. She named the resulting Vaporeon "Seashell," and they soon became fast friends.

Over the course of the next five years, Eclipse and Seashell had four eggs: firstborn was Snowflake, hatched near Snowpoint City and evolved as such. Next came Blaze, evolved into Flareon about two months after he hatched. Lightning was third, accidentally tripping over a Thunder Stone that had fallen out of Evelyn's pack. Finally, two years after Lightning was hatched, Solara was born and she still is very much the baby of the family, even two years later.

Having learned only pain and betrayal at the hands of the only humans she had interacted with in her life left Evelyn a quiet, cold, unemotional female, only flaring up when her babies were threatened. Cynical, powerful, and possessing of deadly skill, Evelyn Blackmore could easily have become one of the Elite had her ambition been as such.

The rest I may write about in a story about her, but I'm not sure at this point. A lot has happened since she was first created!
