More art from me! I'd be a lot more stunned, but this was actually for a homework assignment for my Professional Communication course. We're supposed to do an informational speech with visual aids and I did mine on how to draw with Photoshop 7. My Powerpoint presentation basically followed the progress with this picture of my favorite female hanyou, Haruko. Borrowed very nicely from Warm-Ice-sama.

The inspiration for this piece comes from a chapter of Haruko's first story, My Daughter. [link]

"She was dancing in the rain in the middle of a clearing. It was a graceful dance that made her even more ethereal under the moonlight. Thunder boomed up in the sky and it seemed to have been giving her a beat to dance to, like the beat of drums.

She spun, her hair flying around her, her clothes hung to her frail form. Her face was serene and her eyes were closed. She caught raindrops in her palm and put those drops to her lips then held her hand out again to catch more and give it away. She danced like this, detached from the world in her own little one."

Haruko belongs to Warm-Ice-sama and is used with her permission because she's freaking awesome.
