Long before the days i discovered And became fan of both tanasweet123 & GeorgeTheRedEngine15 , There was someone that i loved more than anything. It was Dexter, an Awesome and cute Dachshund that my Aunt LaDonna had. and Today, i am gonna tell the story about my Friendship with him and how it all came to an End in 2022.

So, back in the summer of 2020, Me, My adoptive mom, my older sister, and Few others have just came home from Buying a new Pool for the summer. When we were setting up the pool, My aunt LaDonna and her then boyfriend Jeff arrived to Help. that's when I saw they brought this dachshund over. His name is Dexter. He had brown fur, Brown eyes, Curly but not too long Nails, And he was cute. We became friends when I first petted him, And as time went on, Donna would bring Dexter along with her to come Visit me and my Grandma.
Then, somewhere around July of that year, I overheard a Phone call with my Grandma and Donna. As it turns out, Donna and Jeff were bringing over Dexter for me to Babysit while they went to the Beach for a couple of Days. Then in September of that Year, I got to watch Dexter for a Whole week while they went somewhere in Florida. (I thought it was really cool!)
As time went on, My aunt kept bringing him over and I got to watch him anytime Donna wanted me to. We were best buds just like Shaggy and Scooby. and i thought that nothing was gonna change, Or come between my friendship with the Lovable pup.

MARCH 2022

After getting two of my teeth removed on March 14th, 2022, My granny allowed me to Have Dexter over. I was so Happy could get to see him again! Because i planned on watch Turning Red with Dexter, and That could have been the first movie we could have Watched together. Or at least, that's what i thought. Four days after i got my teeth pulled, I overheard yet Another phone call with my Grandma and aunt LaDonna. as it turned out, My aunt's house was on Fire! Me, my Grandma, And my grandpa rushed over to Donna's to try and save Dexter. When we got to donna's house however, there were a Couple of Police cars and I think a Fire truck. A man came up to us and he said that they were aware that a Dog was in the house, but they were unable to Get it out. Minutes later, That's when i found out, Dexter had died in the House fire. Apparently when he was in the burning House, He was inhaling the smoke. Me & my aunt LaDonna were in tears, and So was my Adoptive mom. after we got home, Donna brought Dexter's body, and Buried it right next to our Shed.

Dexter was one of the Only friends i had left. In 2019, There was this kid that was next door to my neighbors house. I don't know his name, but the Last time i saw him was on the Fourth of July in 2019. then later on, My biological mom brought this other dog other. his name was Otis. he is a mix of a Chihuahua and a Miniature pinscher. I became friends with Otis the day My biological mom came over on a Weekend.
And that wraps up the Story of the Legendary Dachshund, Dexter.
