yeah I think it's finally finished.Quite happy with this robot, turned out pretty much how I wanted it to with some extras like the fuel tanks and thrusters and it all works so it's cool. Looking forward to doing some animation on him.

nice one...reminds me of hughe, louie, and dewy off a movie i can't remember the name of......earth ark type movie..one of them gets smoked trying to do repairs out side of the ship....your little robot has that look to it...very cool

i always judged mechs on how well they were designed, but more often then less would adore those with a streamlined form. its true this has a bit of a basic look compared to some anime's mechs, but when one notices how much detail was put into creating the workings of it, like the hinges and joints, one cant help but feel awe at a very well planed machine. the pyscial realism is stunning, how evrything fits just perfectly. the shadowing and lighting again show the profesionalism of your 3d rendering. i couldnt hope to be able in such programs until decades from. a fabulous piece of work

Thanks alot for the lengthy comment, interesting points. Things like the form, shapes and the inner workings are more important to me than detail. Though if it can look very detailed at the same time that's also good

Dude this rocks, cant wait to see him move! it will be easier to animate if you make him fly instead of walk, then you wont have to make his legs move.

Thanks, I think he'll do alot of flying when I animate him, but I like animating walk cycles too.
some artists collaborating on a video game actually contacted me and asked if they could use this robot.

really!? that is so awsome Ive always wanted to help with a game or something or make my own.
but I make 17$ a month and have pathetic software and dont have my own car, so thats impossible for me Im relly glad they were so impressed.

hehehh yeah. It's just too bad it's going to be freeware. I let them use it, as long as I get full credit of course. I'd love to make my own game too, like a game of pure ass-kicking, but I don't make much money either, and I have lots to spend on. The only money I get is from selling my 3D animations.
