Not necessarily, since the Vikings (who were actually Scandinavian, not German) settled across Britain and especially Scotland. The geography is also far more like Scotland than Germany.

There are basalt columns like the one Hiccup rests on while watching the Terrible Terrors in Scotland.

Rise of the guardians is likely a Ohio/ michigan area film due to the weather like there still being snow around easter. The current pointing toward the Southwest would never work for that. We're lucky here to have snow at all let alone snow at easter.

Great work and keep it up!

Not trying to be rude, I am just making one observation:
I see what you were going for in the Over the Hedge one, but I wouldn't consider that area Midwest. It seems a little too East/North (not Northeast, that's different). Midwest is more like Missouri, Kansas, (lower)Illinois, etc. Sorry, I know when you get over toward the East the invisible line does kind of get fuzzy, but the placement of Over the Hedge on here makes me think that isn't Midwest at all.

What about A Bug's Life? Pretty sure that took place in the American Southwest, probably near the Mexico border, since that's where Hopper and his gang lived.

Or was A Bug's Life made by a different company? Was it just Pixar?

I'm a little rusty, but I believe, since William Joyce helped with the movie, that A Bug's Life takes place in the eastern or mid states of the U.S

This is very impressive, just like your Disney map, BUT I think expanding the Madagascar films locations might be a nice touch. They start and end in NYC, but make detours in Southern Africa (some wildlife reserve it's not specified which nation they're in), Monte Carlo, Rome, London and the Swiss Alps.

Wow that's cool, but i think "How to train your dragon" is best located on some of the islands north for Scotland or the Faroe Islands. Vikings was located there to and they say they lived on the Isle of Berk. But its a lot of islands on the Norwegian coast too, so it can work, but i imagining its located out in the Norwegian Sea.

"Puss in Boots" takes place in Mexico. There are no deserts in Spain.

I see what you did, but you should put more lines indicating where the other places of the movie is, I mean, it takes place a lot in Burgess, PA too
