Wouldn't HTTYD be in an area around Iceland? Because it was set in a small island in the middle of the sea, nonetheless great work!

In Rise of the Guardians North's workshop is of course the north pole but Jack Frost was born died and became a guardian and calls the United States home as seen in the clip where Jamie is the only child that still believes he is the only light that still shines and is located in Mideastern U.S not sure exactly were and Jack states at the beginning of the movie "North wind take me home" and he goes back to the town Jamie lives in and it is shown to be the same town later in the movie that Jack lived in back when he was still alive and human. Bunnymudds Β warren is in Australia Sandy just moves about Tooth's place seems to float in the air somewhere unsure where but they show cherry blossoms. Most of the movie takes place in Jamies hometown so I'd say that it takes place in the U.S.Β

Yay! There's a movie that happens in Spain! It was disappointing to lack one in the Disney map. Well, two movies if we count the first part of Road to El Dorado.
I think you should separate Madagascar with its sequels, since they don't happen in Madagascar. Escape 2 Africa happens in another place of Africa and Europe Most Wanted in a part of Europe (France?)

Pretty sure that The Road to El Dorado took place in Mexico and that How to Train Your Dragon took place in Germany (Considering that the characters are always mentioning the Norse Gods, you know who are the Gods from Germany).

The Nordic countries are: Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.Β The Norse and Teutonic mythologies were similar, but different.Β You could say it was like the difference between the Greek and Roman Gods.Β The Germans called Odin, Wodan, Thor was Donar, and so on.Β

Rise of the Guardians I had assumed was in a forested area in Upstate New York.Β There's the cab and the driver feigns interest and compassion - until it's time to get on to the next fare.Β And, the girl is clearly American.
Spirit may be from Oklahoma - the Cimarron Strip is the Oklahoma Panhandle.

El dorado was based on a certain someones famous search..... The place in question was actually Mexico as you were dealing with Aztec indians... Not Columbia though you had the inca indians there. Montezumas Jaguar was shown in the movie.

Guardians was in different places, but I can tellΒ you all of them. Ready?
Tooth's palace; Southeast Asia. Why? You can tell from the design of the columns and the pond in her palace. Plus it says in the books.
Bunnymund's Warren; Under the outback of Australia...Duh. Says in the book, and it kinda figures from the underground design.
North's Workshop; In the books, it says that the workshop isn't far from the town Santoff Clausen in Siberia, but in the movie, since it's Santa we're talking about here, it's of course in the North Pole.
Sandy's island; In the book, it says the island is somewhere close to Siberia and floats around to bring children good dreams.
Jack's...pond I guess; Jack's pond is in Burgess, Pennsylvania, crazily about an hour away from my home in Three Springs. William Joyce himself said it in an interview, and I can't remember, but I think it also stated it in the Guardians app.
Jamie's house; Again Burgess, Pennsylvania.
How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2 is in fact not in Norway. Cressida Cowell said in the book series, that the place where Berk and the rest of the islands are or was is a place she called the Barbaric Archipelago. She based the islands off of the ones she visited as a child. Berk is in fact located in between Scotland, Rome, and I think it's quite a way above Africa.

trust me I know. I have the same religion. It came from around the scottirish lands. And Germany doesn't have any gods, they were Christian. Pagan was the first religion on earth, the other religions stemmed from it.

If we're talking modern Germans, you're right.Β Otherwise, I might advise looking up Teutonic mythology.Β Christianity didn't start gaining steam in Germany until the 4th century, and they came to greatest power in the 8th century.

I love these maps, but I think HTTYD is more likely to be Scotland because the adults have Scottish accents and Cressida Cowell (the author of the book series) based Berk off of the Scottish scenery she loved as a child. Berk also looks too temperate and not mountainous enough to be Norway. ROTG is also set mainly in one of the Eastern states (I forget which one) - you see Pitch try and stamp on it at one point xD

How to Train Your Dragon is most likely in Germany, think about it, the characters are always mentioning the Norse Gods, you know who are the gods of Germany, hence must mean it takes place in Germany.
