this is something that I've been wondering for a while, if people keep question the logic in Cars, then why does anyone barely-if not never-question the logic in some of the other Pixar films, like Toy Story or Monsters Inc., man, my brain hurts from this.Related content

This may sound a bit harsh and may offend a lot of people, but, why are people so pretentious when it comes to Pixar.

I see your point, The Incredibles fan base is the best example, with people saying "How come the Cars gets a sequel and not the Incredibles", and the other side saying "fifth teen years to late", even though having a follow up relased decade or more after the orignal isn't anything new, even for Pixar, that because Brad Bird had a lot of other projects to work on and also he did mention he need to more time to think of how to make a sequel to the Incredibles that won't be inferior to the orginal, or suck

Well, CarsΒ probably has the same logic as Thomas & Friends, Jay-Jay the Jet Plane, TUGS, Theodore Tugboat, Underground Ernie, Chuggington, Robot Trains, Budgie the Little Helicopter and even Roary the Racing Car and many other shows or movies that starred living machines...

Cars has a premise so weak that the only enjoyment to be had from it is questioning how the world works. I don't really question finding nemo since it's a simple talking animal movie but Toy story I've always wondered why is it that when Buzz thinks he's a space ranger he still stops moving when kids are around. I thought maybe it was because it was something out of there control but than Woody scares Sid. Why don't they always do that. Why is it that the villain in UP looks around the same age as the main protag when he was suppose to be his childhood hero? What happened to the super villains in the Incredibles while the super heroes were in hiding. Why is it than even though eve's prime directive is to look for remaining signs of life she still blasts every thing that moves. Why did Monsters University get made. Why did Cars 2 get made. Why did Good Dinosaur get made. Why didn't Joy just have those guys who like to troll the emotions with with the gum commercial send up the core memories. But you know what I over look those flaws cause the movie is fun and entertaining.

for Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, it just how can marine fish survive in fresh water without shivering up, even if it is minor. But then again, it's the kind of thing you just accept and not question, maybe it might be me growing up with Cars (even though I sometimes would have questions, that would either be resolved or unresolved), maybe that's why I had that same impression when watching a Pixar movie

Well Finding Nemo didn't have this problem, but yeah dory was very convenient when it came to sources of water.
