Description so i was reading this magnificent fic named “quid pro quo” by anon8043  (pls read if you haven’t yet, it’s amazing trust me) and there’s this scene towards the end… i couldn’t get it out of my head.
i have to admit i'm still super self-conscious about my drawings because as a lot of you can probably relate i'm not satisfied with most of the things i draw these days. i try to get more movement into my characters as they do clearly look too stiff and lifeless. and the colors... oh boy. the saturation and color combination is horrific. it looks okay on my screen but on some it does look way too saturated and off. i still need to understand how colors work best with each other. i also gotta say that this is my first attempt using SAI (not that i've drawn much digitally before) which i think is way easier to use than photoshop especially when it comes to the brush settings.

honest question: how do you motivate yourself to draw frequently? often times i really want to but something inside me prevents me from actually doing it.

I’ve read the story and it blew me away with how detailed he went into the story. And his Judy is my head canon: strong, independent, and goes for what she wants. And what she wants is a certain fox. Which if you read his follow up story, “The Greatest Gift”, she does get him in the end without her having to say anything.

thank you for reminding me to revisit the follow-up story "the greatest gift" again bc i knew i started reading it but then realized i missed the last two updates, wow! and i saw the author was contemplating writing another sequel story without naming a date and now it's been almost a year and i really need to know how it continues. although i gotta admit i've always been more of a fan of pre-canon/pre-romance rather than the two being already in a romantic relationship. i think that's why i loved the story so much bc it really focused on their platonic closeness whilst also kind of grazing boundaries (what can i say, i'm a sucker for deep platonic relationships). but i also gotta say when you have a skilled writer like that it's hard to say no to a romance plot (if there's going to be one that is) bc it's done so incredibly well, that's why i'm now yearning for more (as we probably all are).
