sOOO I had noticed this thing about the Steven Universe designs. As much as i like the show. The character's proportions and art style is .. REALLY.ODD.. Lack of shading
Overly simplified designs
Inconsistent sizing
Pearl’s design is probably my favorite out of all of them, but you do correct a lot of the flaws with it

there’s no problem with people’s artwork today. and there’s certainly nothing wrong with pearl’s character design. i bet if they had more time to do their animating, it could come out way better than anything you’ve ever drawn. so, shut your damn mouth, you bookworm, and go study.
