Description
So I decided to try out my hand again with Adobe Illustrator (CS6 - with my Wacom tablet)Let me know what you think! Should I continue with the evolved forms of these Pokemon or should I do the first forms of the water/fire starters?
Characters do NOT belong to me.
By the way, let's see who really pays attention to my caption... This applies to anyone, whether you have me on your DeviantWATCH or not. Send me a note if you want me to make you a custom wallpaper for your computer (giving me anything in return is optional) using one of these Pokemon. Telling me your computer resolution would be great. If you want it on multiple PCS let me know that too, haha. I'll be making water/grass types soon too and the offer will still stand for those as well. If you have any artistic preferences (i.e. the Pokemon is semi-transparent or you like grunge/splatter brushes, or you want a certain background, etc.) let me know!

How excatlay did you do this? Like is it shapes? And Katie, I'd love a picture of some evolved forms. My favorite is Feraligar.

I traced some PNGs from the web. I used the pen tool - it's my best friend in terms of graphic design. I haven't made the time to work on them... yet.

Haha, thanks a bunch!!!! I love vectors. I would love to learn Illustrator more in depth and get certified. Yeah seems like everyone's loving those water types. I have to admit though, those fire types can be darn cute.

Yeah, I chose Oshawott for my White nuzlocke (May he rest in peace) and will get Froakie for Y. Every other game I chose the Fire starter.

Oh nice Froakie looks interesting, haha. Fire starters are pretty awesome too though.

Which is why I chose fire throughout the first 4 generations and my Kanto starter in Y will be Charmander.

I know! Plus Mega Charizard Y's ability is drought. It's greatest weakness is rock but it can learn SolarBeam. That normally takes two turns. With Drought active it only takes one. Water and Rock types beware! You destroyer has come!

The only thing I have to worry about are Electric types, and Mega Charizard Y's speed is OP

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. I think its neat how they made Mega Evolutions in the first place anyway. I was watching Origins the other day - so cool. I've never really played the games but I can understand most of it hahah!

I hope they do something like that for all the games. At least they can beat the Gyms, Elite Four, and Champion...*looks at Ash in disapproval* Granted it's their call, but it would be awesome to see Gens 2-6 retold in that format.

I know! I was like "Red achieved so much more than Ash ever will, and this is disappointing." And hahahaha yeah, I would really love to see that too.

Especially Gen 2. Fighting Red at the top of Mt. Silver would be an amazing finale. Just imagine the PC from Gen 2 (i.e. Gold) Going on his journey, becoming the champion of not only Johto, but Kanto as well. And then venturing to the top of mount Silver to fight Red and find out who is the greatest trainer.

That sounds so awesome. I prefer watching the anime over playing the games (but that's probably because I've never owned Pokemon games...)

You have no childhood... JK, but seriously get to playing at least one of the games. They're fun and challenging at times. Especially with Nuzlockes. If a pokemon faints, treat it as dead and either release it, or store it in the box never to be used again. Also you can only catch the first pokemon you see on every route. If your first find for the route is a Bidoof, you can attempt to catch that and only that Bidoof. Nothing else. Gets heartbreaking when you start using pokemon you never thought you would, and then they die in battle.
