I think Hekapoo herself would be delighted with how lovely this turned out. I can also tell that you gave this one a lot of extra time and attention, refining her lines into quite beautiful forms then doing a gorgeous job with the colors. The details in her highlights and shading look terrific. Getting her softer side with a gentle, even sentimental smile is pretty great too. Thanks for painting her at her very best.

Not entirely sure why it looks more polished, seeing as it was done during one of the podcasts, though I may had finished the inks before the recording, so I ended up colouring it for the duration of the recording.
But the results are self-evident, I see

A lot of your pictures have more-angular lines and construction that's very distinctive. It's definitely not a bad thing, but this picture has a smoother "flow" (there's probably a better term for that), yet it still shows your style. It's all good.

My style's definitely shifting away from being overtly angular, and I'm trying to find that fine balance between my distinctive angular style and appealing smooth lines. I'll get there.
