Comic summary
The 3 not-so-princesses tells the tale of Peach, Daisy and Rosalina of the Super Mario franchise, with the notable exception that they live in the alternative universe of Rothingham, a dystopian and seemingly endless city. Stripped of their royalty, how will these alternative versions of our lovely princesses deal with the harsh reality of a city that doesn't give a crap about them?

Inspired by The 3 little princesses by Yves =TheBourgyman Bourgelas.

Page notes
Phew, after almost a full month, T3NSP is back and kicking. I hope this was worth the wait, and I certainly hope this gets you guys pumped for the rest of the comic.

On several occasions I have said that I wanted to write T3NSP in such a way to avoid the typical chick-flick pitfalls that bothers any media portraying the lives of those in possession of a uterus (in before that one movie about a woman having it surgically removed because of a type of cancer none of us know existed). While stories with male protagonists appeal to both genders, programs geared towards females tend to completely alienate the males because it usually boils down to "Oh my gawd! That guy is so cute!".

With male protagonists, love and relationships are issues that are being addressed, but they're usually portrayed in a way that it's more of an obstacle or something that has to be dealt with. This is how I translate this concept into T3NSP, as Rosalina has to deal with what seems to be a reminder of her past.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't have a personal vendetta against Walurosalina or WaluxRosie or whatever it is you kids call the "ship". It's adorable in its own way. Please, Mario fandom, show me that you are beyond such things like "shipping wars".

Daisy is very concerned about this situation, you can tell by looking at her face.

Heheh wb. This is the one you were inking Friday right? Sorry I had to leave the livecast, my college is renovating and they closed down the computer lab early. I tried to get to the college's library but their network was down so I had to miss the rest of it. Was fun talking to ya, Artie.

But anyway, great artwork as usual. Love the shadow effect, very nice touch. Uh-oh former boyfriend troubles on the horizon. This should be interesting.

Rosalina loves shopping, but she doesn't like Waluigi. I don't blame her because I do not like Waluigi myself. I also love shopping. ^_^

Shadows from leaves are usually pretty interesting but hard to pull off. Glad you liked it.

like it..OMG!! LOVE! i hardly EVER see that sort of detail in a comic. its like artist shy away from that because they are afraid the reader wont translate the image correctly. but you play with light and shadow in much of your work. im so glad you take such risks

Come on, I'm beyond such things as shipping wars. But yeah...........Why am I getting the impression Walu once attempted to rape Rosie or something? But yeah, this page turned out nice. Keep up the good work, Artix!

Rosalina and Waluigi had a relationship that crashed and burned at some point. The interesting thing is that it isn't clear whether Rosalina is overreacting or if Waluigi did something that genuinely justifies Rosalina's hostility.
