My top 13 horror movie characters It was hard narrowing it down to 13 but I did not want to fill it up with just monsters and a number of characters I liked but didn't know there names
1. Dr. Septius Pretorius from Bride of Frankenstein- former mentor of Henry Frankenstein who created tiny people he collects in jars and openly murders people for his experiments makes me wonder why he is so obscure
2. Doctor Sam Loomis from the Halloween series he's number 2 on the list after I read the fan theory that Donald Pleasnce's character may be the same Sam Loomis that was in Psycho which means he has dealt wit 2 killers
3 Ashley "Ash" Williams from the Evil Dead movies- Hail to the king baby
4. Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th series- there are alot of crappy movies in the series but Jason has alway been badass in all of them
5. Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lamb- Man doesn't kill anyone until the end of the film and is still terrifying
6. Dr. Herbert West from Reanimator - Really I could have put any Jeffrey Combs role in the list
7. Nancy Thomkin from Nightmare on elm streetpart 1, part 3, and New Nightmare there have been a number of crappy Freddy movies but she has been in the best ones
8. Margret White from Carrie- because levitation is not real but parents with zealot tendency who abuses their kids is frighteningly real
9. Quint from Jaws - the monster hunter comes in 2 forms if not the main character bible thumper and crazed drunk Quint is the original and we need more like him
10. Ygor from Son of Frankenstein,Ghost of Frankenstein and Frankenstein vs Wolf man- No I did not mispronounce his name Igor was the spelling of the name in the movie Young Frankenstein and people have used the misspelling ever since. Ygor is not sympathetic his hump comes from a botched hanging, he manipulates everyone and convinces the Doctor to put his brain in the monsters body
11. Ben from Night of the Living Dead - Both original and Tony Todd version are awesome
12. Oskar from Let the right one in- yeah this kid's life sucks I would have runaway with the vampire as well in this new take on the Reinfield character
13. Trash from Return of the living Dead- yeah a freaky punk girl takes off her clothes and stays naked throughout the movie is going to make my list
