I've seen this template going around and I thought I make one based on this idea I've had for a while now about the idea of someone having video game powers.

If Devil Fruit existed in modern day, I could see this being one of the most powerful Devil Fruits out there as whoever eats this can use the various powers and abilities from the video games the user has played. This means deploying weapons/gear from an arsenal, being able to use close range fighting styles, and being able to shoot lightning and heal oneself to name a few examples. Also to go with the anime theme, the more fights a user wins, the more they can "level up" and thus get stronger and "obtain" better gear.

I also see it being one the few Devil Fruits that can be "used" even when wet. For example if the user were to equip themselves with the "powers" of those seen in games like Subnautica or Bioshock before getting into the ocean, they can still use those "powers" when in the water/when wet but are restricted to those "powers" until they get out.

It isn't without its weaknesses though, one being that in order to learn and use a power, the user needs to have a good “understanding” of it, like they need to be in the character’s shoes. This means the user has to have played the game it came from for countless hours plus actually needing to train with said power. You also can only use powers that are common in the game/franchise so no one time powers like GOW 3 Kratos' hope powers.

It also takes more effort and energy to use the more powerful abilities like summoning creatures or using OP weapons like the R.Y.N.O from Ratchet & Clank which can tire the user out over time, especially when overusing said powerful abilities back to back. With enough training this will be less of a problem.

I also see some abilities being hard to do depending on what species the user is, like I can only see a human being able to use Sonic's speed for about a minute before being at risk of fatigue or tearing their body apart.

Also as a funny idea the user can’t copy powers from games that were originally from non-game franchises so no Star Wars, comic books, or Lego.

What do you think about such a Devil Fruit? Would you eat it if you found it?
