So! First of all, i want to point out that i really appreciate it that you chose to get out of your confort zone and do your part with traditionnal media. Which i think you managed well! These colors really speak to me, you made them quite vibrant.
I also gotta congratulate you for figuring out their colors scheme! (especially with the blues, which even i tend to get hit-or-miss) I'm kinda curious though, why did you crop their legs? I mean, it doesn't specially bother me, i'm just curious
also I heck of gotta agree with LeLumy 's remark too! these lines seem really clean!
Now, how about the idea you've portrayed here, hm? Well, I definitly like it. The intention, as you've described below the post, feels very in-character for Malvin. He may take damage from his peers for being a nerd(?), but he'll take sh*t from noone if Fuko gets mocked. B^/ And then there's Fuko, being all innocent and naive. Which you captured nicely with his expression and his hand clinging a bit onto Malvin's. It's just precious. <3
I could go on & on, but to conclude it this properly, i simply love your part!

nah, my sketchpads are all full of random doodles x'D I have this fear of making a really bad drawing and ruining the 'flow', so I end up buying more sketchpads than I do actually finishing the ones I already have orz

Ow haha understandble I too have a lot of sketchbooks that have yet to be filled. But I kinda just put in drawings whether they're doodles or finished traditional art pieces all in the same sketchbook. But your system works fine too! Having a sketchbook for diffrent things to draw pretty nice too!
