No, you don't seem to get it. I am not offending anyone. The Addams family are fictional characters. For you to take personal offense to something that isn't yours or isn't even you is just moronic. Some people will like some art, others will mock it. For instance, I think the Mona Lisa is a pile of dog shit hanging on a wall. Others may revere as a monumental achievement. That is what art really is, interprutation based on ones own views. And did you ever bother to ask if I like the Addams family? Perhaps I am just making a remark to garner some laughs. But since you seem to be the all knowing omnipotent god-like being you are, it must have been a malicious attack on not only the Addams family, but you personally. Fictional or not, people made it their life's work to bring characters like the Addams' to life, so making jokes to mock the creation is, in a way, mocking the creators and all people involved with the franchise. As a person whose great-grandparents bore the last name Addams, I am appalled. Sure, the Addams' are morbid and gothic, but even they have standards, a line you clearly crossed with this art of yours.

AdendumL It's not so much the actual art itself, as the Addams' are basically immortal and can survive basically anything (with Wednesday herself getting cut in the neck and losing an arm in the play she and her brother performed in the first live-action film, for example, so as far as the decapitation, I'm sure Pugsley is fine), it's just the attitude with which you responded to criticisms and personal views concerning your work. IMO, even if they're fictional, characters deserve the same dignity and respect we strive to give ourselves and those around us. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should, as they say. For instance, just because you can jump off a cliff, get drunk to the point of passing out and not remembering anything for the next few days, have unprotected sex and abandon your partner and the offspring you could potentially conceive,or do drugs to poison your body does not mean you ought to engage in these behaviors. Likewise, just cause you can lampoon beloved franchises known the world over does not mean you should. There's a reason why some people dislike shows like SNL, MadTV, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, South Park, and the like, which is that they leave nothing sacred and basically insult anything and everything to get a cheap laugh out of immature morons who find such material funny when it stops being funny once you leave adolesance and actually grow to understand that morals exist for a reason.

OK, I might accept your point of view and your opinion..
Everyone can have your own opinion about art, but i don't think i was defending myself -_-'.. I admire the art that Charles Addams gave to us.
And yes, maybe you are just making a remark just for some laughs, but how could i know? If i'm watching a deviation, i DO read the artist's comments, but there was nothing in there about the fact that you even like the addams family.
But you wont care about this. I'm not gonna spill more time in this shit.
