Description
This a background "pony" from one of my future comic pages. I guess that he's an OC, but he's not "My" OC. If you get what I mean.If this picture doesn't confuse the pants off you about where my comic is heading, I don't know what will.
FYI, I know that Halloween\Nightmare Night is coming up, but that's a total coincidence. Nothing to do with this picture at all.
Haven't named him yet. He probably needs a name beginning with G if show lore is anything to go by.

This pony resembles Crescent Moon slightly (winged Doctor Whooves lookalike with moon cutie from some of the epsodes).

No, I haven't thought up any names.
Originally they were supposed to be "odd ponies" but when I came to drawing the comic I changed them to be a cosplay club. I would presume that they all have quite ordinary names.

Also they're a completely different color than his hooves.

Yes, he has always had a white pony's tail because he is half-pony not half-lion and his head has white "hair feathers", probably to match the pony designs in the show. Lions in MLP(and manticores) don't really have human-like hair so they can't be used for example.
His tail also has that bit of blueish lavender or whatever (lighter shade of his outline's color for the whiteish parts) that the feathers on the back of his head have.

Usually, when somebody say that a character is "Their OC", they mean that it is the avatar that they have chosen to represent them in universe".
This character is an OC, but it's just one of many background characters in my comic. The page that this particular pony is on has 5 OC ponies. Non show\comic canon characters created specifically for the comic.

So it's your OC - it is by definition -, but not your ponysona. Like Think Pink is ES Stories' ponysona, while Silverlay and Alice are just "regular" OCs.
