Description
This is part 5 of my ongoing Pony comic.Princess Celestia has magically transformed Twilight Sparkle into an Earth Pony, after deciding that she has become too dependent on her magic. There have been some tears, some tantrums, and some hugging, too.
Now, Twilight has set out to find somepony to help her in her quest to find out how Earth Ponies do things without magic.

This page was created in Inkscape and Photoshop. Most of the foreground characters were scratch drawn for this page, or for previous pages.
I've used gameguy001 's Sweet-Apple-Acres as a background for all frames (gameguy001.deviantart.com/art/… ). Though I modified it slightly as I wanted to put a shadow in for the fence.
Applejack's Cutie Mark was created by BlackGryph0n (blackgryph0n.deviantart.com/ar… ).
Apple Bloom from Frame 3 is based on Saveman71's saveman71.deviantart.com/art/A… The color and the style didn't match my own color\style. Particularly the line thicknesses, so I created my own vector from scratch, using it as template.
Twilight's cloak was scratch drawn, but it is based on Trixie's cape. I used Why485's Pony Fashion Study (why485.deviantart.com/art/Pony… ) as a guide, but altered the decorations and added a hood to turn the cape into a cloak. It was inspired by Twilight Sparkle's dress from The Best Night Ever.
The Picture of Celestia in Frame 4 is from the show.

I think it tries its best to show similar random things from your gallery. I've seen lots of times where comic pages from the same story were all grouped together, even in cases where the artist had multiple stories or more portraits than comics.

I might watch the show and catch the occasional fan comic/pic/video from time to time... But I don't contribute and or follow the ways of the Brony...
Unlike some people... I actually have talent in keeping a character IN CHARACTER... Ms "Applejack Ignored Apple Bloom once on something trivial and now WILL ignore her with a "Boy who cries wolf" situation in a state of emergency..."
By the way have you been told how you failed with that part of the comic yet? Because you have... You seriously have...
Manipulating a character's motivations and actions simply because the plot demands it... You oughta write for Hollywood... Only THEY could produce such lazy writing... Heaven forbid you actually do your fucking job and try to keep them in character with themselves while ALSO telling a half decent story...

You write comments like that, and then expect someone to listen to you? The heavy sarcasm and insults naturally will cause a defensive reaction, so whatever message you were trying to get across isn't going to be heard. I just started on this story myself, and there have been pages where I felt things were out of character, like the initial premise where Celestia doesn't even ask Twilight before taking her horn away, or AJ getting pissy because she took Twilight's comment the wrong way. You can state dislike for a concept without attacking the author. She might just be new to the comic scene, and no one gets it right right away. And the writing has picked up a little when Twilight and Rainbow talked. Whether it's going to keep rising or going down I'll have to wait and see.

So ... you don't write fan-comics, and you're not really a fan of the show ... and you're lecturing me?
The big difference between writing a comic and writing a fan-fic is that comic writers don't have the luxury of being able to explain the motivations and emotions of their characters in text. You have to do 80% of it graphically, and you need to keep dialog to a minimum. This means that everything is compressed into a much shorter space, and that emotions need to be exaggerated else they tend to be easily missed.
A professional comic writer\graphic artist can compensate for this with facial expressions, or gestures.

There are hundreds of Pony web comics out there. If you don't like mine then there are plenty of other ones to choose from.

Two things, Twilight. Ditch the cloak, because it makes you look like an over-dramatic poser. And let AJ tell 'Tia she was out of line; changing somepony in such fundamental ways without permission, warning, or even promising to reverse it later is phenomenally rude. In fact, I'll even go so far as to formally retract calling you twelve years old earlier; it is a well-established fact that ponies never grow out of being obsessed with cutie marks, and 'Tia should know better than to take one away.
