the gun need to be minimum 600mm to be considered non-restricted. what was your estimation of the total length of your shotgun ?

maybe you will see a similar "real life" version of your design if one day i get the finance to make it (i estimate the cost at 1600 $ including the firearm)

I'm talking about the American Constitution, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. If a certain length of weapon is considered illegal by a government you have no legal obligation to obey it. And yes that price tag seems accurate

but i'm from the "Canukistan" (Canada)

here , the firearm at either classified by their look,their mod of fire (semi,full etc..) or their length , they can be prohibited (because they are automatic or are part of the prohibited firearm list), restricted ( handgun and certain semi-automatic rifle and shotgun) or non-restricted (everything else)

your shotgun if is 600mm or more would be considered as non-restricted, if less would be considered as a restricted or prohibited firearm
