For the DA Fan Art Mashup challenge!~ It took me a couple clicks to find one I actually liked, then I ended up with Rick and Morty, on Pandora, teaming up to survive the apocalypse. I thought "Okay this can work because Rick and Morty can basically do anything am I right?" So when I first saw my setting was Pandora, me being the geek I am INSTANTLY thought of Borderlands. I know it PROBABLY meant Pandora from that one shit movie Avatar, but my mind went Borderlands. Still a Pandora from a fandom. I love Rick and Morty, I love Borderlands, so this was perfect~ I couldn't think of a good apocalypse setting besides a bunch of zombie Psychos, but I didn't wanna ONLY draw Psychos. So I decided to instead, use the monsters native to the planet!~ The creatures used are: Skags (the two ground ones), a Rakk Hive (the big one in the back), there's a Stalker silhouette (top left), and two Bloodwing silhouettes (top right)~ So boom, Rick and Morty, on Pandora, with apocalypse monsters~ Rick and Morty are already a team, and with Morty being an anxious baby, I couldn't justify giving him a gun or weapon, so he's just scared as usual.

"Their spaceship had crashed in the deserts of Pandora, creating a lot of noise to the neighboring creatures. Rick knows the ship is damaged to some degree from the rough landing, and knows of the surrounding creatures. So he takes two guns, one originally for Morty, but just went with both himself, and went to one of the local run down ghost towns for parts (of course picking up the famous Handsome Jack collection car stickers for his ride), and goes back to fix his ship. Little do they know, they were being followed. As soon as Rick finishes the maintenance on his car, is when a heard of hungry Skags, sees the scientist and his grandson as a quick and easy meal. Upon Morty screaming in terror as these giant, self armored creatures stampede towards them, Rick gestures Morty up onto his car so the Skags can't get at them that easily. Rick shoots Skags down one by one, not even letting them stand a chance against him and his guns. The Skags run off, back over the hills in which they came. A very shaky and anxious Morty, looks over at where the monsters ran from, and sees a figure in the distance, on a majestic horse, with silhouettes of MORE Skags beside them. A voice cries out "How are you still alive, Vault Hunter? HOW?!" The figure points towards them, and more of the "trained" Skags charge for the science duo. Once again, Rick is shooting Skags down one by one, as the figure disappears over the horizon. Morty soon realizes they are mistaken for who this figure is looking for, and if they don't leave, trouble will show up. And so it did, BIG trouble. The ground starts shaking, rocks bouncing off the ground from the vibrations. Rick takes nothing of it. He's so used to stumbling from being drunk, this is almost normal. He was having too much fun shooting these monsters. Morty looks over in the distance as a GIANT creature is barreling towards them. There's no way the figure could have sent this, and Morty could just tell. "R-Rick!!" he cries out in fear, trying to grip at the car's glass dome for dear life, as a Skag was crying to bite at his feet. "W-We gotta go now! G-get us out of h-here!!"

Aahh little story that just popped into my head as a bonus, assuming this was a time BEFORE Jack was dead ya know? Just something stupid I popped out cause I think it was a good idea~ I haven't written like, fanfiction in so long but hey slowly but surly~

This was done on Hammermill Cover Copy Digital 80lb paper, sketched with some cheap pencil, lined in a Uniball Air, then coloured in a combination of Copics, an unnamed "art marker", Prismacolour, Winsor & Newton Pro/Brushmarkers, Design 2, Conda, Ohuhu, and Permiere by Nicole markers~ Basically all my alcohol based markers~ Then the white lines are my Uniball Signo white gel pen~
