Description
Inspired by The Batman ep "Clayface of Tragedy part 2" that was on Sunday night on Boomerang
Towards the end after the newly formed Clayface was battling The Batman inside the boys' locker room, Yin appears to try to help, knowing that Clayface was once her old partner, Ethan Bennett. Clayface gives up and reforms back into his former self and says yo Yin "What has become of us, Yin?" and a tear falls from his eye as he transforms back into Clayface and disappears down a drain.****************************************
Made this comic dedicated to that scene b/c it was so touching and sad! *Clayface is standing alone at the docks....somewhere. He is silent as he reminisces about his past life. He looks up at the moon with a grief-stricken face.
An image of his old partner and one of his best friends, Ellen Yin, appears. A ghostly tear streams from Clayface's eye....*"Yin....." he said in a gargled, throaty voice. "What has become of us?"

He did get help in Clayfaces where he reformed for good and got cured. Too bad that Yin wasn't in the episode.

It was indeed.
If he didn't get cured, I at least wanted to see him get back together with Yin; they were such a great team and I'd love to see Ethan looking out for her as Clayface!

I believe it's on Netflix now.
It seemed like he may have been cured after helping Batman and Robin battle a "New Clayface". While it was left open, at least there might be a chance for him and Yin again. TwT

This is my ALLTIME favorite origin/persona for Clayface,
Ethan Bennett had so much character development right from episode 1.
it turned out so freakin' tragic,
good cop, believes batman is on the right side, boss pushing him and pushing him, finally joker's (my favorite version of joker too) mind break stuff kinda pushes him over the edge which makes him snap at his boss when he claims the police did all this work, gets suspended, turns into a monster, all police are "zero tolerance for freaks" now so against him.
OH!
And then later he starts to turn around, he's being himself again, gets a job from bruce, given chance to start over, but lets his hate for joker cloud his judgement too much, and everytime he uses his powers people worry about him going evil, with only revenge on his mind he throws caution to the wind and ultimately sees no point in trying to hide what he has to become at this point.
...its quite the ride.
And i really feel for Ethan.

So here is "The Batman"'s incarnation of Clayface... I remember the first time I saw him in "Batman : the Animated serie". I was so scared I shut down the TV. I was a kid back then, but still he was creepy...
This incarnation seems less... well, let's say less disgusting...

I can hardly say you're wrong, as I said before. He was ugly and disgusting.
As for the new looks, well you're right, though it took me time to like the Joker's new design. Mr Freeze loosk far better, though they should have kept the origin from TAS. Same for Bane, he looks better but they should have kept his hight intellect from the comic. Catwoman is perfect, and Penguin is far better, being both funnier and a more valuable opponnent. Black Mask is very good, and as for Clayface... well he's better looking but I would need to find the episode where he appears.

I love new Joker! He's hilarious and I love his hair XDD
New Freeze I love better too....Catwoman I always loved no matter how she looked (except maybe the movie version...too trampy) and Penguin is definitely funnier and cooler!

Well, I have to admit I eventually liked this Joker, especially in the episode where he try to become the Batman himself^^. He's different from the classic version but cool in his own way eventually.
What's cool with the Joker from the Animated Serie is that he's at the same time a goofy character AND a murderous creepy psychopath. He can as much make you laugh than become scary. I don't know yet if the Joker from the Batman is like that too...
By the way did you watched "The Batman VS Dracula" ?

Wow, sound like you don't like being scared^^. To be honest I don't like either but I'm not against a creepy villain. It would not be interesting if villains were always beaten up easily...
Yes, TBVSD was creepy, especially the vampires scenes, but cool. My favourite part is Dracula's death...

Well, at the end Batman lures Dracula into coming in the Batcave, and brings him at the machine who serves to stock sunlight. He opens it in front of him, causing the vampire to start burning. As he's dying, Dracula deduce his identity and asked him if he's Bruce Wayne. Batman open his cloak, making his shadow look like a giant bat who's dominating Dracula, then stated : "I'm the Batman. And you... are dust." Then he jumped and sent the final blow.

Actually not so much a coincidence since I heard about this ep reading you com about the ep^^
But yes you were right, they did a great version of the character, both in look and personnality.
As for the powers, well my hypotesis would be that there was enough antidote to fully cure only one of them, and since he was smaller Ethan took most of it so there wasn't enough to really cure Basil. But that doesn't explain how they are able to say that Ethan is cured and don't notice that Basil isn't. Or Arkham's men are even more uncompetent than I thought... As if it wasn't enough to constently let everyone escape.
Well actually he give me inspiration for two character, one for the powers/apparence and the other for the personnality. The first can manipulate swamp and the other can manipulate poison...

Sure Clayface was smart, especially since for once, they were able to keep him quite well. But what I mean is that there are a lot other unpowered patients, such as Penguin or Joker, who very often easily escape, and very often they're the most dangerous. This is what I mean when I say their security is tight^^
As for my character, well actually the one who control Poison is a girl^^. And I drew both of them but didn't post (at least not yet). Besides I'll have to revise the design for the swamp one.

I've only seen 2 guards so far from Arkham...but then again...there's always Gotham PD and The Batman to take care of crime

Well actually Poison Ivy inspired me another female character too, who control plants and is rather a hero than a villain.^^ Really like Poison Ivy. I love plants^^
