alright before anyone comments that there are only 7 tentacles. I know. He was involved in a serious car accident.... and doesn't like to talk about...........o.k. so there was not enough room to put another on. Anyway wheel thrown bowl then sculpted (like you could do it the other way)Related content

This is incredible! At first I thought it was only the tentacles, then I looked closer and realized that it had eyes. I've been taking pottery classes and tried to make something like this...but it failed terribly. Your pots are amazing! Would you ever consider making a tutorial?

how did you create the suckers on the tentacles?

thanks for the kind words. the suckers are custom crafted from a rare.................no not really just a ballpoint pen unscrewed and pressed into the clay.

oh, im pretty new to it so i've tried a bit of everything. i guess the majority of what i've done is hand built, most of it sculptural too. but i did enjoy using the wheel and would like to play with that more. i'm going to put up some more stuff on here whenever i get a chance to photograph it

the wheel takes time so don't get discouraged quickly. please post new work I would like to see it. good luck
