cronos - greek mythology means god of time... Aether - greek mythology means god of upper air and lightI have came up with the idea during some classes XD ...and i rely wanted to put it down and improve it ( sorry for my bad English speaking )
sooo i should probably describe this creature a little bit :
( mah first time doing this lol )
name : Cronos-aether ( CA )
height : 173cm ( height of an average man )
length ( with the tail ): about 519cm
abilities : can travel with the sped of light, a power that enables him to fly, teleportation, time-traveling, ability to blend with the night or day, defying gravity, and much more lol ( those are some of the basic )
color : pretty much black and blue, or green
uhm if i forgot anything just ask
CA is design for speed and power, is super adaptable. its thin arms and legs ( don't be fooled by their look, they are made from super strong bone material ) allow the CA to move elegantly and super fast, its anatomy design is unlike and very light...its stripes and marks are made from special biomass that collects energy from CA's movement and surrounding energies from other life ..... they say that the creature is delicate but very strong and in its presents you may fell very weak and sick
so i think that's about it for this creatures design

Having just spent some time looking into the concept of time (and evidently having bumped into the concept of Chronos and therefore that of Aether) I find this picture very refreshing when compared to the misguided portrayal of Chronos as Cronus the Titan. Seeing as Chronos was mainly depicted as a serpentine with three heads, I find the hound-like design a new, interesting one yet still loyal to the original as the Cronos-aether of yours is very slender and streamlined, imitating the shape of a serpent! Also, the massive (Massive in relation to the size of the body) tail hints towards the original design, which in my opinion makes CA seem not too outlandish, btu still an invigoratingly new design!
As for the colours, their simply amazing. As an everlasting fan of black, purple and blue combinations, the mix of black skin with bright purple runes/lines/adorments is almost timelessly elegant and suits the concept more than fine! The faintly glowing streamlines emitting from CA's paws and ears send out a sense of mobility while still the original picture remains still in a stop-motion way! Also, the blank, gray background suits the overall feeling of the picture, because a tood etailed abckground would divert attention from CA, and I think the importance of it's design would not benefit from that.
All in all, exceeding work! I personally view Chronos as a clockwork dragon, but after seeing this I think I might alter the design of the dragon into a more slender way, because it most certainly seems to suit! So, also thank you for some brand new ideas and inspiration!
