Woohoo! A background! Just when all hope was lost! Seems I draw a picture with a background only once a year, 'round this time too hurrI am... really really happy with how this turned out c: Lots of effort was put in, and it came out pretty decently! Even made an outfit that isn't like all the others, haha.
Although I am never ever ever again drawing a mic stand ever. EVER.

It's simple but it adds a lot to the atmosphere of the piece.
...I like painting backgrounds, just not real ones. 8|

It's mostly inspired by the victorian era and watching sherlock holmes three times while drawing it :'D

Hahaha... usually I'm too lazy to do more than a simple background. Actual scenery? Of course not! (sometimes I draw on watercolour paper... I like putting cool designs and stuff in the background. like this . I always have something in the background of my digital art even if it's just a solid colour, because I hate staring at a white screen.)
