Honestly, I have been wishing for Nintendo to bring this guy back as a friend like they did for Birdo. Especially now that they have this enemy: www.mariowiki.com/Draglet
He could be Yoshi's "Rosalina" like how Birdo is kind of his "Daisy" if that makes any sense Xp

They've brought him back in minor roles like he was in the remake of Bowser's inside story in the Bowser Jr. Journey mode, but yeah.
Theres a lot of enemies from World that haven't been seen again which is a real shame especially since Odyssey had a prehistoric themed world and all .
But I guess if the SMW's Goomba can come back as its own thing, any enemy has a chance.

I didn't see him anywhere in BJ's Journey. Just in Minion Quest for the Superstar Saga remake....but honestly, I don't count that as a true appearance since it was a remake. So to me, they haven't really used him since Super Princess Peach
Odyssey as a whole was a missed opportunity by having it focus on mostly new stuff in my honest opinion. They should have just used a bunch of preexisting locations and expanded on those like Dinosaur Land and Sarassaland. They could have even used all of those locations in the old locations like Fossil Falls could have been in Dinosaur Land (maybe in the middle near where the Valley of Bowser was) and Tostarena would be in the Birabuto Kingdom in Sarassaland. Steam Gardens could be in the Forest of Illusions, etc. Save all the completely new stuff for an Odyssey sequel....but that is probably just me.

Yeah, it's a shame really I'd love to see some older things brought back.
especially since for a while they had a trend of "let's make a new flying power up that does pretty much the same as the old"
