As the two animals soon reach the camp, Yaotl notices a large figure emerging from the tent, with metal devices attached to its arms.

It was Jasper, having been assigned guard duty to keep an eye on the prisoners.

Undeterred, and no longer willing to cower away while his friend was in danger, Zunari approaches the anthropomorphic wolf, and growls aggressively.

Jasper: *Noticing the two animals growling at him* Well, well, well…looks like we got ourselves a couple o’ wild stragglers wanderin’ to our place! *squeezes his hands into fists on the handles of the devices on his arms, causing claw blades to emerge from them before charging at Zunari and Yaotl, who charge at him as well*

While Yaotl and Zunari face off against Jasper, inside the tent, Alex bangs against the metal bars of his cage.

Lyndsey: *desperately* Alex, it's no use, don't!

As Alex tries to escape from his large cage, Lyndsey manages to work one arm free of the ropes binding her, and reached over to Alex, trying to calm him down. Once she touched him, he turned towards her with an angered look face before he slowly began to at least calm down.

Alex: *furiously* Christopher.

Lyndsey: *Just as angry* Yes, Christopher. Christopher betrayed us all. I'm so sorry, Alex.

Alex: *Lowering his head* No, I did this. I betrayed my family. My Father was right.

Seeing the confused look on Lyndsey’s face, Alex proceeds to tell her of the ‘deal’ Christopher had tempted him with.
