At the back corner of the tent, standing motionlessly on a pedestal, was a familiar-looking leopard.

Upon following Yaotl’s terrified gaze, Zunari’s eyes widen as well.

Zunari: *courage fading* …Khajida?!

Alex: *Turning to Lyndsey* …I thought I killed her!

Lyndsey: You did. Christopher brought her body back to the camp and stuffed it as one of his trophies.

Alex: *Eyes twitching* That’s low. Taking another’s kill as a trophy? But there’s no time for that now.

As Alex quickly explains to Yaotl and Zunari that Khajida’s stuffed, Zunari interprets it a little too literally.

Zunari: *terrified* I don’t care how much she’s eaten! That won’t stop her from killing us all again!

Yaotl: I get it. That’s just her corpse.

He receives no answer as Alex hurriedly bolts from the tent, heading back into the wilderness to stop Christopher, with Lyndsey, the Professor, and Zunari following, Yaotl remains behind, staring at Khajida’s stuffed corpse, before furrowing his brow angrily.

Lunging at Khajida’s body, the enraged Jaguar tears it to shreds, before he turns and runs to catch up with his friends.
